CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Your Independence bed has been engineered and manufactured to the highest standards and requires no maintenance by the customer at all.

RETURN POLICY

The customer will have 30 days to decide if they want to return the bed. The customer is responsible for return freight and cartoning or shipping in a crate so the Independence Bed is not damaged upon return. The customer is responsible for the cost of return, and charges will apply.

WARRANTY POLICY

Your Independence bed comes with a 10 Year Limited Warranty on the frame and mattress. This includes the first 2 years of in-home electronic parts and labor coverage. Years 3-10 include a prorated warranty on the frame structure only. We also offer 2 additional warranty add-on options. Please see our "Warranty" page for more information.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Orders can be cancelled with no charge or cancellation fee prior to scheduling delivery of The Independence®.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Once I order the bed, how long until it's delivered?
We will work with your schedule to find a convenient time to deliver The Independence® Bed. Typically, 7-14 days complete with in-home white glove delivery, full setup and a complete demonstration.

How big is it? What are the dimensions?
Dimensions: Length 80", Width 38", Height to Mattress Surface 26", Height to Top of Handrail 35".

Does it come in any other sizes or colors?
No, the Independence® bed is specifically designed for one person and only comes in Twin XL (extra-long – 38"W x 80"L – half of a King Size bed). At this time the bed comes in only one color, Charcoal, as shown on the home page.

What if I don't like the mattress and prefer a different mattress? Can I get the platform with a softer/firmer mattress?
No, your Independence bed's Premium Memory Foam mattress has been specially designed to support you with body contouring comfort.

Can I use my own mattress on the bed?
No, your Independence bed's Premium Memory Foam mattress has been specially designed to support you with body contouring comfort, and is integral to its unique patent pending design.

Can the bed still turn if one side is against the wall?
The side of the bed must have at least 20 inches of clearance off the wall in order to rotate.

What if it stops working?

Do I need special sheets/blankets/pillows?
No, the Independence® bed uses standard sized Twin Xtra Long (TXL) sheets and blankets readily available anywhere sheets and blankets are sold.

What is the process if I am buying this as a gift/for someone else?
You can certainly purchase the bed as a gift, however we will have to contact the recipient or someone at the destination to ensure delivery and setup can be scheduled.

WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY & SETUP

How will this be delivered to me?
2 authorized in-home handlers will deliver, set up and demonstrate the bed to you. With delivery and demo they will be there for 45-60 min.

How do I schedule delivery?
Within 2 days of your purchase, you will be receiving a call from the delivery company to schedule your delivery.

Will you take away my old bed?
We will not be moving or removing any existing bed or furniture. Please have the area you would like us to set up the Independence® bed clear of any obstructions.

Will you set up the bed for me?
We will set up the bed and provide training and a demonstration on how to properly use the bed.

What if I don't want white glove delivery service and would like to set it up on my own?
Should you opt out of our delivery and setup service, please watch our assembly instructions video for proper installation of the Independence® bed by clicking here. Note, assembly will require a minimum of 2 people.

FINANCING

What happens if I don’t qualify for the initial financing offer?
If you do not qualify for the initial financing offer, you may be presented with subsequent opportunities by another financing provider that can be used to complete the purchase (which may be subject to credit approval). Independence Bed works with multiple financing partners to present you with financing solutions that best fir your needs. Once you agree to the terms and accept the offer, you can use the payment solution that you choose to complete your purchase (subject to credit availability). If you decline any opportunity presented, you will be brought back to the checkout process where you can proceed with your order using a different form of payment.

Which providers may present a financing offer when I apply?
Independence Beds works with multiple financing partners. Synchrony is the primary lender and they are the bank behind the primary offer presented. If you are not approved for this financing offer, you may be presented additional opportunities from the other providers, which may be subject to credit approval.

How do I pay my bill?
Each financing provider has their own payment process. See card or terms for details. All payments are made to the issuing provider of the financing offer you select.
